About Me
I’m Terence — founder of People Deserve Better, a hospitality-rooted, people-centered consulting practice built out of a lifelong conviction: people are filled with greatness waiting to be unlocked. Raised by a single mother who poured everything into me, I learned early that love, dignity, and belonging are the foundation of a meaningful life. That belief carried me into years of service, leadership, and community work — from managing volunteer teams of all sizes and citywide events, to building operational systems, to leading in the hospitality industry where I’ve focused on reshaping how teams care for guests and how employers care for their people.
I’ve never been interested in fitting into someone else’s definition of success. Instead, I’ve pursued a path guided by faith, creativity, and a desire to help others see what’s possible for their own lives. My life’s work is simple: creating spaces where people feel at home, connected, supported, and seen the way Jesus sees them — in all their potential.
I believe that every person carries a story worth honoring. From the dreams of our youth, to rediscovering your purpose "later" in life, the right environment can transform possibilities into impact.

People Deserve Better (PDB) is the first expression of that mission. PDB exists to help organizations — especially hospitality and people-facing organizations — transform the way they serve, lead, and operate.
